How do you pick your favourite Pokemon?

No idea how I pick my favourites! I already said that Manectric just suddenly became my favourite... and that's the honest truth. Yeah, I like canine critters, but it's not that... there's just something about him that I love. And I have no idea what it is. It certainly has nothing to do with competitive battle, because he was my favourite before I started battling online. And back in the days of Ruby, he really was nothing special even as far as in-game goes.

Murkrow and Archen make a bit more sense to me, because I love birds and dinosaurs. I especially love Corvids, so Murkrow is an instant win, and Archen is a birdy dino. Wonderful <3

I only battle competitively with Pokemon that I like. That's my rule. I'd rather lose with the stuff I love, than win with stuff I don't. Although, thankfully, most of my favourites are usable in some form or other. Manectric kicks butt.

Some people don't seem to think so though.. I have to campaign a lot over here to make sure people don't try and take em' out.

I say when you hold your sleepover it should be fox-themed! ^w^

I agree, you should battle with the Pokemon you love! That's what the anime taught me, it's not the winning that counts..

I spent countless hours trying to figure out a strategy using Gardevoir/Ninetales/ Milotic/Luxray to use in OU back in Gen 4, hahah. But it was all worth it in the end!

I based my decision on the anime series, I love seeing the Pokemon on television rather than just seeing them on my ds screen it brings more life into them but i have only ever had one favorite Pokemon and that is Butterfree

I think I have to admit, seeing them on TV does influence how much you like them.....because before I saw Scraggy on TV I didn't think much to it, but the episode where it hatches is just immense and gave me a new love for that little guy.
